Zoom yoga courses offer the perfect environment to either begin or ignite an existing yoga practice from the sanctuary of your home, the place where you connect more with yourself, and less with other distractions or influences. Being in your own zone encourages better alignment from the inside creates a deeper inner awareness.
The next six-week Yoga course is starting on Tuesday 17th of March at the slightly earlier time of 5:30pm (GMT). The sessions are 75 minutes long and will finish at 6:45pm (GMT).
Over the six weeks we will practice Yoga whilst exploring the Meridian Energy Channels of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), covering fascia, connective tissue, anatomy, and yogic principles.
I have found there are four essential threads that bring a yoga practice to life: Purpose & Intention, Knowledge & Understanding, Practice & Direct Experience and Embodiment & Expression. We can think of these as threads that weave in and out of both asana and meditative practice.
Yoga is a continuous unfolding education which develops insight and wisdom, ultimately helping us to anchor to our true selves and approach a healthier life and sense of well-being.
Whether you're drawn to the slow, meditative holds of Yin yoga that target the deep connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, tendons) or prefer the more strength-building asana of a Yang practice, I will be structuring the classes to combine both the Yin and Yang.
Zoom links will be sent out at least 24 hours before the class begins.

The courses cover the basics and beyond... When we balance the Yin and the Yang, harmony happens. Satisfaction happens. Feeling calm, invigorated, less stressed happens. When we learn how energy moves, how to open the 'highways', we begin to relate more with what's going on from a physiological perspective. Yoga is a science and by releasing tension, (and by tension I mean physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically and spiritually) we can encourage energy to flow smoothly. This is when healing happens.
