Hello, thank you for dropping by, my name is Deborah and I am fascinated by the way things work. Two things that have been a constant fascination to me, one is the anatomy and the other is yoga.
I was first introduced to yoga many decades ago at a local village library. My time with ‘figuring out’ yoga (I say, smiling) has taken me to a variety of classes in the UK and also in India. I have practiced many forms from Iyengar to Ashtanga, Vinyasa to Restorative, from workshops on Meridian Yin Yoga with Acupressure to finally settling on Yin and Yang and the Meridian energy network.
It wasn't until covid hit however, that I was drawn to my calling to teach. I invested in a Functional Yin Yoga 200 Hr teacher trainer programme with Dhugal Meachem to learn the science of variable anatomy, Daoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This led me to further my interest and training with 100 Hrs in The Dao of Yin Yoga and Neijing Tu Meditation.
I began teaching Functional Yin Yang Yoga on Zoom, and following that, I rented spaces to teach classes and hosted a number of workshops. I am a registered Indian Head Massage Therapist and registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.   
The Daoist philosophy, Science of Acupuncture and Acupressure, Qi Channel Theory and Hatha Yoga principles have been a great source of inspiration and wisdom and they are the foundations from where I teach and continue to study. There is an enormous amount of enquiry to process within these comprehensive informative universes. I teach functionally with open spirit. 
What is Yin Yang?
~ Most people are familiar with the black and white Taijitu (Tai-Ti-Chu) symbol.
~ Opposites complete the whole; as in one half cannot exist without the other.
A classic example would be Light & Shadow Without light, there can be no shadow. Shadow only exists because light reveals it.
~ Yin & Yang is everything and everywhere.
~ Yin & Yang inside the body – Yin is the hard tissues like bones, ligaments, tendons, fascia!!, and these organs: Kidneys, Liver, Heart, Lungs and Spleen. Yang is the soft tissues, blood, muscles, and the Bladder, Gallbladder, Small Intestine, Large Intestine and Stomach.
~ Qi is the ‘current’ between the two opposites, the Yin side and Yang side.
~ In Yin and Yang Yoga we ‘enable’ the Qi to reach both Yin and Yang tissue. We also turn our focus in a Yin way and a Yang way too!
~ You could say that Yoga is a way of uniting both the Yin and the Yang.
